Design and Sales Consultant

Our client, an industry leading design and manufacturing company, are looking for a Design and Sales Consultant to work within their Design Team.

As a Design and Sales Consultant you will play a key role in supporting clients through every aspect of the sales, design and installation process and ensure they receive excellence in products and service.

As a Design and Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:

• Communicating with clients, establishing relationships and advising on solutions.
• Completing site surveys and taking basic measurements.
• Working with the sales administration team to provide costed proposals.
• Selecting graphics and presenting completed designs to clients.
• Liaising with clients and the product design team ensuring tasks are completed to time.
• Managing and ensuring quality records of completed projects (photos, drawings, etc).
• Maintaining internal logs and databases.

Experience in a customer facing sales role is essential. As is:

• A good telephone manner, and clear, professional communication skills-both written and verbal
• Excellent IT skills, familiarity with Adobe is a benefit
• A strong creative instinct
• An exceptional eye for detail
• The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

This would be an ideal role for a technical sales professional looking to expand their scope or a design graduate with customer-facing sales experience looking to start their career.

The role is office-based role, Monday-Friday, core hours are 9am-5pm, however flexibility may be required to meet clients needs.

A driving licence is a benefit as you will need to attend client sites across London and the South East to complete surveys. Company vehicles are available for those without a vehicle

In return you will receive training in a truly unique sector and the ability to earn £5,000-£10,000 in commission on top of your basic salary.
