Technical Sales Representative

£30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum

Our client are currently seeking an experienced Sales Person to help grow their well established UK client base by providing excellent service and working with engineers and project managers to craft bespoke solutions for each clients needs. Working closely with the MD and Sales Director you will formulate sales initiatives and goals to ensure opportunities are maximised.

Responsibilities include:

  • Securing new business and revisiting old clients. Regular face-to-face contact with these clients will be vital to building new bridges, strengthening existing ones or repairing broken ones.
  • Driving the products into the market, growing both product awareness and sales.
  • Maintain & achieve profit targets.
  • Performing in-house or on-site practical demonstrations of equipment and answering basic technical queries.
  • Overseeing the e-commerce website, ensuring that it is up to date and that robust processes are in place to maximise the business potential available to on-line clients.
  • Controlling the registration of new clients on the web platform to continuously build the e-marketing database.
  • Partnering with marketing team and management to develop and& maintain company presence across Google and other Social Media platforms.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a Technical Sales/Sales Support position.
  • Be customer focussed and have demonstrable experience working in the field, visiting customers.
  • Be able to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, yet assertive manner.
  • Have knowledge of e-commerce sales, productivity planning and sales process.
  • Be adaptable and be able to adjust to multiple demands.
  • Be able to provide data insights and actions.
  • Be comfortable in the detail and be able to identify value drivers.
  • Be comfortable with considerable cross-functional collaboration.
